As Chief Executive Officer of National Risk Management LLC, Douglas Kahn brings over thirty years professional experience placing a wide range of property and casualty insurance and providing claim settlement and advisory services for the industry's leading companies.

With prior management positions at renowned insurance brokerage firms, Douglas Kahn has placed coverage and managed risk for clients in diverse industries, including commercial real estate, restaurants and hospitality businesses, sports and entertainment, national landmarks, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, service industries, construction companies, energy providers, import and export, marine, shipping and transportation, government entities and government sponsored initiatives, educational institutions, and all forms of personal lines insurance.   

Douglas Kahn has extensive experience insuring properties with significant catastrophe risk from hurricanes, fires, floods, and earthquakes, and businesses or organizations with workers' compensation, general liability, professional liability, or terrorism exposures. As a specialist in the settlement of complex insurance claims, Mr. Kahn’s expertise is often engaged to appraise large losses, advise on industry best practices, and act as a consultant and expert witness for claims in arbitration, mediation or litigation in state and federal courts.
